PRACTICE SCHEDULE FOR 2023
MONDAY TO FRIDAY ALLOCATED TIMES:
- Monday: 5:30-6:30pm
- Tuesday: Not Available
- Wednesday: 6:00-7:00pm
- Thursday: 5:30-6:30pm
- Friday 5:30-6:30pm
ALL PRACTICES ARE $15 PER PERSON PAID IN CASH WHEN YOU ARRIVE.
Our Practice sessions are for you. Perfect for solo dancers, medallists, DanceSport competitors, attendees of any of our Group Classes to rehearse and refine your skills. Practice is not something we force people to do, it is something you should want to do, then you don’t have to force yourself to turn up.
There’s no age limit, no skill prerequisite, and no judgment…just turn up and dance!
WHY IS PRACTICING THE BEST IDEA YOU'VE EVER HAD?
- You don't magically become a beautiful dancer, you have to sculpt your body through training
- For every Private Lesson you should aim for at least 1 hour of practice
- It's not about muscle memory, you are training your nervous system and wiring it to create more efficent movement and to be...less gumby over time
- Repetition is the mother of learning
- Positive feedback loop: The more success you feel the more you're going to increase your input and the more success you will experience and thus you'll love dance more
- By turning up each week at a regular interval you're going to see progression to the next level of your dancing
- If you aim for quality over quantity [counting minutes danced vs minutes in the studio] you'll accelerate your skills

CONDITIONS YOU AGREE TO:
- Please leave within 15 minutes of completing your Practice session to make way for lessons.
- Floor space for practice is only allocated if there is space.
- Private lessons get precedence over Practice.
- We reserve the right to refuse entry or ask patrons to leave without reason.
